So Heliohost.org, the business who was hosting my last blog totally blew a rivet and stopped working, so I moved here. Lost all my old info from the site, so.. sorry guys.

It’s been ages

..Since either one of us made a post. Can’t be helped now. :) Lots has been going on, and we’ll be busy for quite a while. Once October comes I doubt either one of us will be on the computer too much. ;) Just giving a quick update to prove we’re both alive.

So yeah.. Not really much to update-update on. Private details yes, can’t have everyone knowing. Life is good, which is what’s important. :) We’re alive and we’re livin’ life.

BTW if anyone does ever read this, and happens to like ambient music, I suggest the band Helios. I’m in love ( shh don’t tell Justin >.> ) with their album Eingya.

Hackers

Justin and I just watched the movie ‘Hackers’ together. It’s his favorite, and it was my first time seeing it. And I gotta say – I understand now why it’s his favorite! It was made in 1995 and like the title suggests is about this one group of hackers. They get involved with some macho, money-stealing asshole when one of them gets some dirt on what he’s up to, and have to use their hacking know-how to save themselves from being framed and to get the truth out ( and the guy caught ). The interaction between all the characters is hilarious ( my favorite character being Emmanuel Goldstein, played by Matthew Lillard ) and not only that- Angelina Jolie’s tits flash across screen a total of what.. three times? Once covered, but barely. :P

This is definitely a movie for geeks, ’cause it involves some hilarious out-of-date hacking ( toaster boxes, and believe it or not – a laptop with a 28bps modem! ) and a pretty ingrossing plotline.. And not only is the chick in the group hot and incredibly kickass, she’s rocker and played by a young Angelina Jolie.

So basically, go watch it! Now >:)

Beach Photos

It’s not really the conventional, sandy, ideal type of beach seeing as it’s in Finland but I find it beautiful nonetheless ( maybe my standards have lowered? Or I’m down to Earth? I go for #2 >.> ). Had a lot of fun, it was such a beautiful day.

Vitamin B12

•July 20, 2008 • Leave a Comment

I read something that I found pretty incredible ( nerdy as I am ):

“There is no Vitamin B12 in fruits or vegetables. There is controversy over this, of course. Many people say that the only foods which contain Vitamin B12 are animal-derived foods. This also is untrue. No foods naturally contain Vitamin B12 — neither animal or plant foods. Vitamin B12 is a microbe — a bacteria — which is produced by microorganisms. Vitamin B12 is the only vitamin that contains a trace element — cobalt — which give this vitamin its chemical name, cobalamin, which is at the center of its molecular structure. Humans and all vertebrates require cobalt, although it is assimilated only in the form of Vitamin B12.” -WikiAnswers

Vitamin B-12 is the name for a class of chemically-related compounds, all of which have vitamin activity. It is structurally the most complicated vitamin. Biosynthesis of the basic structure of the vitamin can only be accomplished by bacteria, but conversion between different forms of the vitamin can be accomplished in the human body. A common form of the vitamin, cyanocobalamin, does not occur in nature, but is used as a supplement and food additive, due to its stability. It is converted to other forms of the vitamin which are actually used in chemical reactions in the body.” -Wikipedia
